couple from Paris★
Aurore and Sebastian are very very sweet couple! They were staying about
2 weeks in Andon.
They are from Paris in France.
Aurore had stayed in here before and she came here with her fiance in this
time:)
They are really like Japanese culture and they are studying Japanese.
She is very good drawing so I asked to favor for draw to our Eventboard!
This is it on the picture! It became soooo nice booard (*^^)v
We are looking forward to seeing them for their honeymoon.

and Sil」
I'll introduce two nice guys from US!
Michael spoke fluent Japanese because he used to live in Japan.He went
to Uni in Nagoya and worked as an English teacher at high school in Yamagata.Helives
in Texas in US now and visited Japan with his friend,Sil this time. Itwas
the first visit Japan for Sil : )
They bought a bottle of whiskey and drank in a lounge as we were chatting.It
was such a pleasant time : )
I was very surprised at Michael's knowledgeof Japanese culture,history,geography
and so on. He explained and suggested many things about Japan to other
guests whom come to ask the receptionist.
I was also very happy to hear that Sil really liked Japan and wanted to
livehere..!

★Nice
Couple from Australia★
Ms. Sam and Mr. Cameron stayed in andon for 2 weeks!
They had stayed in Andon 5years ago and came back here again! I was really
glad to hearing from them about it when they checked in!
It was long stay and their smile made us happy every morning :D
I liked to talk to them because they interested in design, art, architecture
and so on and they have many information about that.
Also Ms.Sam can speak Swedish because lived in Sweden.
I could get a lot of informations from them!
One day we did big cleaning at lounge in Andon but it was very very hard
to clean up from complicated desing.
They helped to move the mesh wall. They were very kind and friendly.
I am looking forward to stay with them again!!

"Mr.David"
A very attractive,funny priest came to Andon from US !
Mr.David stayed at Andon for 11 days. During his stay,we were completely
fascinated by him, not only Andon staffs,but also many guests who stayed
at Andon for the same period to him really liked him : )
He talked to everybody in the lounge familiarly anytime and sometimes sang
songs,,!
He went to a udon noodle restaurant near Andon for dinner every evening
and of course, the staffs there became his close friends !
He also traveled to other cities such as Hiroshima and Kyoto during his
stay.When he came back,he showed us many photos. I've never seen such a
beautiful photos.
He took many pictures of local people in Hiroshima and everybody in his
pictures were smiling a hearty smile. Even though they might be not able
to speak English. I'm sure that his warm, magnetic personality made they
happy : )
We absolutely miss you,David-san. It's unforgettable memory for me that
we ate lots of choco bars in a lounge together as we were chatting many
things : )
I hope to see you again!

"Best
couple from Mexico"
I'll introduce a nice couple from Mexico,Ivan and Zitla.
As you see the photo as below,they had friendly,lovely smiles : )
Ivan had a wonderful antique camera. I was interested in antique things
and also taking pictures so we enjoyed taking photos of us by his nice
camera.
Zitla had her hair cut at a local hairdresser near Andon for the memory
of their traveling in Japan. That style looked very good on you,Zitla!
: )
Even though they faced some problems about their travel plan,they were
always smiling and looked so happy!
I miss you and your smile,Ivan and Zitla : )

"Two
gentlmen!"
Mr.Alain and Blian! They are father and son,stayed at Andon for 2 weeks.
They really enjoyed sightseeing in Tokyo together every day so they looked
like best friends!
They also looked forward to travelling to other cities in Japan after staying
Tokyo so they and I were planning that at lounge every evening : )
On the day of leaving Tokyo for Kyoto,it occurred,,! They lost each other
at Ueno station on the way to Tokyo station!
Mr.Alain came back to Andon and really worried about Blian.We Andon staff
were also very worried about him.
Few hours later,Mr.Alain had a big smile! He got a email from his son :
) Blian had have reached Kyoto.
Mr.Alain stayed at Andon one more night and Blian stayed at an accomodation
in Kyoto at that night and they saw again in Kyoto next day.
We hope they had a nice time in Kyoto and hope to see them again!

Stephan Flell and Ms. Alexandra Steheli♪
They are from Basel in Switzerland and they stayed in andon about one week.
Mr. Stephan drew pictures about Switzerland as we talked :D
It was his hobby and I really like his pictures.
He is good painter and his picture was pop.
It looks like our jacuzzi paint.
They liked our jacuzzi and had a good time at there.
They were lovely couple and I got Swiss chocolate from them (*^^)v
It was delicious.

and Mrs.Pamela from Sydney!
We had a nice couple from Australia in September : )
Mrs.Pamela is a teacher and she bring a group of Australian high school
students to Japan so she has visited Japan 10 times,,,! However,this time
she didn't bring students,she brought her hasbund! Mr.Michael, I really
really liked his kindly smile : )
They were from Sydney and I also stayed in Sydney last year so we enjoyed
talking about many things every night.
Mrs.Pamela was well-informed about Tokyo and I identified myself with her
taste. I want to walk in Yanaka,Omotesando,Ginza and Kitakamakura with
her someday! Mr.Michael let me listen to a nice juzz CD in a lounge in
the morning. It was quite nice and made me so happy : )
I very miss you, Pamela-san,Michael-san. Please come back to Andon! If
you are busy, I will visit you in Australia,,,!!

★Risotto
Party by Italian Group in August★
Did you remember"Marco-san"?
He is leader of Italian group guests on the April and He visited to the
andon again with the other Italian group =D
He suggested to held Italian resotto party in here again!
He said "Rise of the Rice" hahaha!!
At the time the other Italian group guests stayed in here and they also
joined it!
It looked like Italian village in the Andon lounge.
He cooked for us two kind of resotto and antipasti of crostini.
One of resotto was seafood taste and he went to fish market for bought
to them.
The other one was mushroom resotto and it also "buono"
He is great cook and everybody like his food!!

『Arthur & Patrick』
I'll introduce unforgettable,nice French guests,Arthur&Patrick!
In the beginning,they made a reservation for 2 nights in the Andon.However,Patrick
came to the reception on the second night to extend one more night and
he also came to us next day...and next day... They finally extended their
stay 5 times and stayed in the Andon for 7 days!
We Andon staff and they were getting be good friends during their stay
: ) The day before their deperture,they bought two bicycles and headed
for the west part of Japan by bicycle next morning! Of course,they booked
their second stay in the Andon for their returnning to Tokyo.
We really liked your smiles which were full of curious : )

mounth I would like to introduce cool Andon's guest:
Lisa and Simon Thomas.
They are traveling with big motorcycles all over the world! They are from
England and left at there six years ago.
It was 59 countries in Japan and we were happy to meeting with them.
I got a e-mail from them as below.

『Swedish
family』
We had a nice Swedish family in July!
Mr.Mikael,Mrs.Susanne and their sons,Petter and Felix : )
They stayed in the Andon for three nights. One day,when they were relaxing
in the lounge,I spoke to them because I was planning to go to a Swedish
restaurant then..!
They introduced and reccommended many kinds of their local foods and drinks.
They explained many things and wrote down the name of dishes for me to
order at the restaurant..!That's very kind!
I also enjoyed talking with them about their travelling in Japan. It was
so pleasant time : )
One week later,I enjoyed dinner at the Swedish restaurant by grace of their
help.
Thank you very much! I hope to see you again in Japan or Sweden : )

would like to introduce Mr. Peter and Ms. Wamathana
They are from Melborn in Australia.
They are friendly guests!
She can speak Japanese a little because she was English teachre in Japan
where is Kouchi prefecture.
We talked about our home town, dogs and so on : )
They also has five chickens! They taught us one word..."CHOOKS" during
our conversation.
It means chickens in Australia!
I leaned Australian languege ; )

Mr. Blaine Brownell teacher who is professor at the University of Minnesota.
He stayed in here last year with the studends Michigan University !
We are glad to meeting him again : )
They interested in tea ceremoney very much and we had a great time.

He is a proffessor of Architecture in University.
He stayed in the Andon with his fellows for few days.
I was very impressed with his rich knowledge of architecture in Tokyo.
He recommended me many nice buildings in Tokyo!
I really enjoyed talking with him every evening : )
He also spoke fluent Japanese.

This month i would like to introduce Mr. Ingo Ms. Nastasian from Austria :)
Ingo san came to Andon every year = about 6times now !!
I never met any guests who stayed andon that a lot =D (Usually 2 or 3times
)
He has very nice smaile , very good Japanese and also he has pretty girl
friend .. Nastasian san :)

Party by Italian Group★
Italian group guests came to Andon on the April!
Their group leader was Marco-san and he was very funny and nice person.
He suggested to cook Italian pasta and do the party in here when they arrived
in Andon soon
He also made this party's notice for the other guests and invited it for
them!
They sang Italian songs and talked a lot!!
We really had a great time with them.
Of course his pasta was amazing that is Spaghetti all'Arrabbiata and peperoncino.
We could not take picture all of them in the launge so we took picutures
at the out side!
It was wonderful Italian guests!!

Every
guests and andon staff liked to talking with them.
Guests name were Dan and Gail Reardon.
They are really lovery guests♪
Their doughter's family also had been visited in here before.
They were from Cairns in Australia and gave us homemade honey.
Dan is making a lot of honey in his home.
It was delicious and we used it every mornig for breakfast.
They sent me few photos when they back to Cairns.
Iku and I will stay their house and will do a help to make honey (*^^)v

month we had 3 pretty guests from Spain Ms. Patricia Xènia and MªJose
They joined our Tea Ceremony that time was only 3persons and all of them
were skillfully well so Tea Master Mr. Souyu and i were very suprise about
it.
He also like them becouse pretty and very nice girls .. hahaha :D
I have plan to go some Europe in June .. sounds perfect could meet again
!!

We were in the Andon Ryokan for 6 days in March-09.
Our visit to the Ryokan was espectacular. Airi, Harry and the rest of the
team were great!!
Helpful is not enough to describe how much information they gave to us:
Train schedules, places to visit and tips to see Tokyo at night, ...
The Ryokan premises were very nice, always clean, comfortable and with
a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
Accomodation was perfect and the other services were very good. The jacuzzi
is completely worth to try!!
We learned a lot in the Tea Ceremony. We really recommend to participate
in it.
If ever again in Tokyo, we'll be there again!

Estuvimos alojadas en el Ryokan ANDON durante 6 días en Marzo-09.
Nuestra visita al Ryokan fue espectacular. Airi, Harry y el resto de el
equipo fueron realmente atentos y profesionales!!
Toda la información que nos dieron nos fue de mucha utilidad: Horarios
de trenes, lugares para visitar y consejos para ver de noche de Tokio,
...
Las instalaciónes del Ryokan eran más que correctas. Siempre limpio, cómodo
y con un ambiente relajado y tranquilo.
El alojamiento fue perfecto y los demás servicios fueron también muy buenos.
Vale la pena probar el jacuzzi!
Aprendimos mucho en la Ceremonia del Té. Realmente recomendamos participar
en ella.
Si alguna vez regresamos de nuevo a Tokio, volveremos al Ryokan!!

When they check in i feel something different .. latter i knew that they
are Surfer living in Cabarita which ive been once for Surfing.
It is not famouse spot so i had very relax time with some dolphins and
whales .. That day i will never forget :)
I like them becouse they are sweet, natulal, friendry and seems happy !!
I miss all my friends , Surfing in Australia a lot so time to Go for it
:D

They seem super busy but always so nice to us .. we like them very much
!!
At that time it was big news 『Bushfire in Melbourne 』ｗhile they stayed
in Andon.
Horrible situation over there , everyone .. thats happen to me as well
.. we never know.
When i though how i can help .. I made a donation from web site.
It will takes long time but will get well better.
I miss you guys very much .. specially when i see Anteater which they gave

Rackham san form U.K
He stayed andon in July 2007 with Chris san then stayed with him again
but at the moment pond isnt not good as before so he change his plan to
go China earlier ... Tom san have to traveling by himself that is first
time in his life =D wow ... must be very excited !!
He been to some north parts of Japan then came back here again spend New
Yeas eve .. he is friendly so got some pretty girls friend from U.K and
Aus 8)
Last night he went to boozing with them .. drunk too much (funnn night
) he couldnt get up right time but went to Narita Airport.
When Kayo and I was chating about his happening he showed Andon again =
he missd Airplane =P
He seems not so bad becouse .. Tom loves Andon so bit happy got to stay
1day longer .. hahaha (Thats he said)
He send me a picture when he could arrived U.K airpot.
You will come back to work in Japan so we will see you soon again !!

A guest of this month is Didier Debrock.
They were French couple and they stayed in here last month.
However they came back to stay in here again this month on the flight day
before!
They liked in here☆
We were glad to hearing from them.
They went to Okinawa and they visited their friends.
We talked a lot of Okiwana traveling stories from them when they back.
Okinawa is quite different in Japan so we could talk a lot about their
traveling.
We got e-mail and Okinawa's pictures from them.
